Leonardo's Bridal Boutique

Leonardo's Bridal in Rocky River, Ohio has been in the business of dressing brides for over 30 years! Katy Wasserman purchased the boutique a year ago and has transformed this traditional store into a modern, crisp, spacious boutique.

I was thrilled not only meet Katy for the first time, but also to watch a bride try on gowns in her store and experience her "this is the one" moment for the very first time. I don't get to see that often as a designer, but how fun to coo over this bride with Katy as we watched the bride light up, knowing her search had come to an end <3

The Perfect Bride

You cannot walk into The Perfect Bride in Rocky River, Ohio and not have a great time! *Unless you are by nature a grouch :P Carly (far left) is so awesomely energetic and fun, she sweeps through the store swooping up the perfect accessories, dresses, mother dresses...etc, as if she knows exactly what that customer is looking for.

Cathy Kuhn (center) is the owner of this beautiful store and such a down to earth, knowledgeable woman who certainly knows the ins and outs of the bridal industry. The store is so welcoming, it's as if you are a guest in their home. I was not anxious to leave and they gracious let me loiter all day and enjoy the experience of The Perfect Bride! This was a day well spent! Oh.....and if you go....have lunch next door!!

A Bride's Design

I really love the overcast skies of Ohio this morning. Seriously, there is something soothing about it. I am here in Westlake, Ohio; where yesterday I spent the evening at A Brides Design with owner Carilyn Stickney.

It was a treat to meet with her brides and see the boutique where you can purchase from a beautiful selection of gowns or have Carilyn or partner Laura actually make you a custom gown!

It is always a pleasure to work directly with brides and yesterday we had a blast with one of A Brides Design brides who purchased this V108.

It is so fun when you fit a bride with a veil that completely shouts out her personality and this one really did!!

The bride said she would send a photo after her October wedding, so I will be anxious to post the picture.

Colorado Bridal Shop

Fall is fast approaching which means boutique owners and designers are preparing for the big showcase of dresses, shoes and of course accessories for 2010! Many designers choose to take their collections to NY and Chicago to meet with owners for one of the bridal industries biggest weekends. This year, however, Veil Trends is bringing the collection directly to the boutiques for a personal consultation with the designer Jolene Picone.

It's all starting this weekend with Little White Dress Bridal Shop at the Victorian Center in Castle Rock, CO!

Today I met with Little White Dress owner Cate Malone. Because VT manufactures here in Colorado I have had the unique opportunity to personally visit LWD many times. I love coming to Cate's boutique in the historic downtown Castle Rock! If you have ever walked into this shop you know how much Cate has personally invested into every detail of this store. It is stunning. The dresses and accessories are all gorgeous and it is such a warm environment to settle in her big red chairs and watch brides stand on beautiful pedestals in front of floor to ceiling mirrors.
